Today, I was confessed to by a close friend of mine. Let's call him Pota, okay? A girl friend of mine had mentioned that someone liked me, but I really didn't think it was this guy of all people. We've known each other for about four years, Pota and I, he's what some would call a "popular" guy, and girls flirt with him often. I think he's a nice guy, pretty attractive, he's friends with my friends, funny.. he just has a whole bunch of great qualities. The catch is, we're both taken, and him confessing to me how he felt during a class of ours, even though it was very casual, left me floating in an bubble of awkwardness for some of the day. We talked about our feelings at lunch, and he says he only wanted to make sure I knew his feelings. I don't like him in that way and I've made it painfully obvious. Pota acted a little strange for a while, but seemed to go back to normal at some point. I'm afraid he might feel bad for confessing to me at all. Do you think he is alright, and I'm just worried?
If he already has someone he should not be confessing to other people in the first place.
I agree. He said he just wanted to get his feelings out, and that he knew he wasn't going to date me or anything.
BG Info - He's in a online relationship and him and his girlfriend hardly talk since he's hardly online at this point. I consider him still taken but that may have changed since he last talked about it.. ;v
I think he'll get over it, just give it time.
