Free Coffee (24)

So last night after I got off work, I decided to get a hot drink at the Caribou Coffee right next door. I ended up getting two free large white chocolate mochas because the lil' Asian cashier girl thought I was cute, and she said that I should come in more often. Serious good karma.

The movies, or a play, or the symphony or the ballet, or the opera. There are more options then you think!

A game of bowling? That's actually a cute idea... too bad that our area has like, absolutely no bowling alleys (fuck East Atlanta). I dunno, maybe I can find one.

coffee is good, but don't mention her work. coffee does not mean work. whatever is more comfortable for you works

Just go somewhere where you can both have a sit and enjoy a nice talk. Coffees, restaurants, a not-so-crowded park even.
The Japanese joint sounds like a nice idea, if you're afraid she'll get the idea you're buying her, you can always have lunch with her, but the trendy joint seems to do it, it's not too shabby nor too special to give that impression. Informal places are the key here.

Well, got the digits finally (our schedules just haven't crossed this past week), and am kinda leaning towards asking her out to this little pub in another part of town for a drink... what think you?

I have always enjoyed first dates in a park feeding ducks or birds near a pond. Take some fruit for yourselves and a loaf of bread for the birds and find a seat. Very relaxing, romantic and non-threatening :)

Try casually bringing up what she likes to do, then following that up with the date. Like:

"So what are you into, sexy lady?"

Whatever may be in season. A park, museum or something like that is fine. My gut feeling tells me that I should really just be kind of direct.

"All right, I was going to ask you if you wanted to grab a cup of coffee or something, but you do that all the time. So I was thinking of something completely opposite. So I've decided on a bar. But if that's no good, then we can compromise and have hot chocolate in the park."

a bar is nice just if you want it this to be a romantic relationship i would think it would have to be semi private or quiet something that could to the atmosphere. do not to be afraid of taking her somewhere else that may seem not the best idea other then that good luck

Went to lunch with her the other day; things went all right, but will definitely need a second date to see what's up. She is DAMN cute though and pretty intelligent, although I get the feeling she's been a stereotypical "good little Asian girl" all her life (high achiever in school and job, but not much socially).

>intelligent

choose the place where u go carefully. dont go to karaoke or shit like that. u shouldnt miss the chance to talk to her because u r singing all the time.
