go for it.... i belive that it doesnt matter what the gender if there is a connection, as long as she feels or thinks the same way u r sorted.

good luck

thanks to all who gave me suggestions. but she doesn't feel the same way as i do. i told her before that i kind of like her, but she changed the subject or sometimes she pretend that she didn't hear a thing. i'm lucky enough that she still treats me as her close friend.

Leave her alone if she does not feel the same, do not push it further. It is rude and uncomfortable, even when straight people do it to each other

i told her only once. i kept quiet after that. however, she still talks to me on msn (a chatline). secret admirer, i've read stuff that you wrote on other threads and i find that you're such a good counsellor. are you really a councellor in real life?

"Secret Admirer" is just an anonymous handle

It's just the majority of this site takes this section seriously. Which is one of the top qualitys of 4-ch. Acually

It will be hard but if you really cared for her, a friendship will be enough. It is good of her to want to remain friends as many would be too uncomfortable. Even when it is unrequited between man and woman, it often ruins the friendship leaving both regretful

Protip, kiddo: There are more anonymous people here than one person, and on this board the default anonymous name is Secret Admirer. There is not just one person behind that handle, but in other words many.

i have pretty much the same idea as >>18 does. the only difference is "find another target" part.

i guess it will very difficult to think of find another target at this stage, because u r so sure of ur feeling towards her. and if u could feel like finding new ones so easily, u wouldnt have worried so much.

thank you fart man. yeah, it's indeed difficult to find another target. but in my country, not many girls like the same gender as themselves. and i'm a christian, it's a sin to like a person of the same gender as you. ):

>>22 I don't believe that, and neither should you. I'm no Christian, but from what I've read of the New Testament, I don't think Jesus would call you a sinner for loving someone, regardless of their gender. Jesus taught acceptance and love, and to deny that in the face of dogma and radical fire-and-brimstone "you shouldn't be who you are" christianity is denying the essence of Christianity itself. So do what you think is right.

i'm sorry, but we're not allowed to like someone of the same gender. this is true. and this girl that i like is from a different school from me. i only meet up with her during the first few weeks of the year because of our badminton tournaments.
