I'll take anything but overly clingy and skew teeth.

As for totally fucking jealous, I think that's a virtue that proves she loves me.

I have waaaaay too many of those imperfections D:

As a girl with a number of those flaws, this thread made me feel even worse about myself.

>>I think you're just looking for a girl you can feel some power over... which is understandable, I'm currently chasing a boy because I know I can get him without risking too much hurt.

This thread is depressing.

What if we used the word quirks instead of flaws? I've never really considered any of the things listed as flaws but too much of a thing can be a bit scary and become a flaw; especially the stalker thing.

Well, OP, do you have somewhere I could contact you? I never met someone who found my flaws so appealing before.

>>I think you're just looking for a girl you can feel some power over...

Interesting theory. I just consider these things cute tbh. It's childishly adorable. I think people who have a problem with needing and closeness etc. just have a fear of rejection. Because I think all people naturally have a huge need for being seen, accepted and wanted, that's why some are so afraid of it. It's a defensive mechanism to take distance to things that are emotionally hurtful. Children are very open with these kind of behaviours; jealousy, clingyness, needing, but as we grow older we also grow colder.. As you illustrate below, I don't really have that problem

>Children are very open with these kind of behaviours; jealousy, clingyness, needing, but as we grow older we also grow colder..

The other word for that is becoming mature and self-reliant.

>>The other word for that is becoming mature and self-reliant.

The other word for those is being a hypocrite. I don't know about you but after having been an adult myself for some time, hanging out with other adults on an equal level, I've come to the conclusion that maturity and self-reliance is all pretense.

What's wrong with knowing that you're able to take care of yourself? I know I can survive alone, without people to support me; I don't particularly enjoy doing so, but I can do it.

Having someone constantly cling to you is annoying. Feeling like you're someone's only support is annoying, because it's impossible to always be there.

My flaws are not appealing. cries
Self centred, mistrustful, overweight, negative, critical, perverted, ugly voice, almost arrogant, probably others too lol.

Eh, when you've been hunting for a while, you jsut plain stop chasing. The real key (at least most of the time) is to flaunt what ya got and SHOW CONFIDENCE. You chase folk, you won't get very far, imo. You show confidence and a little daring (at least from a man's perspective) and it goes a loooooooong way, keeps 'em guessing too, which is always a fun game to play... then instead of chasing, you're being swarmed :D

>>I'm actually very down to earth, borderline cynical and extremely observant

All excellent traits imo, it's ok to show them more strongly and I guess you should do that. Then perhaps you will attract the "right kind of guys"... Whatever kind of guys they are, hopeless unromantics?

What you are searching for is a geek girl, nothing more needs to be said.

32 Name: Hidari : 2008-03-30 23:04 ID:CkI5g+2w

I wouldn't go that far as to saying he's looking 4 a geek girl...i think he wants something closely tied in with the whole wabi-sabi thing...ya'know...perfection in things imperfect

33 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-03-31 00:44 ID:CGehcRfj

A geek girl would be nice but an artsy girl would be even better, we'd have much in common. But yes you are correct. I guess, being an artist as I am, I like unique features with personality, and am fascinated with the special ways that people have, what gives their identity flavour.

>>31 here, i lol'd so haaaaard ;; since i actually am a geek girl (and an artist in training btw, yeah, i fall into _that category too) hence why i said that. Some of those flaws are just too off for me though, I never really failed at anything that i tried hard to accomplish, I'm not clingy or jealous or neither do i have stalking tendencies. I'm very easily embarrassed anyway ;_; but I'm not very goofy or w/e, I just tend to spend lots of ours drooling myself while drawing, listening to music and smoking pot. And God do i love to stare at the landscape rofl.

drooling while drawing is kind of disturbing actually.

37 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-03-31 17:10 ID:o2WINvNh

yeah, it kinda is, specially when you are the one who is drawing ;_;
