Either he is just being nice to you so you will go to the ball with him or he used the chance to ask you out indirectly.

3 Name: Ang : 2008-07-09 11:59 ID:dDNmLe0y

The other day, I went to shopping for a ball dress with a few of my girlfriends, I asked him to come along as well with his friends, so that he wouldnt be singled out with a bunch of girls. Anyway, at the end of the day, it was freezing cold and he put his arms around me on the bus ride home, and then after we got off the bus, he had his arms around me as well while we walked home....

There are 3 types of guys that wrap them arms around chicks. Genuine guys, cheaters and gays. Take your pick.

5 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-09 12:07 ID:mJWx2QYx

Yup, a normal guy wouldn't do that, and as >>4 said, there's three types, I think you can tell what kind of guy he is:) Now, make sure you return the affection so that he doesn't think he's not being noticed or that it's not being appreciated, and it will continue, until something more formal, between the two of you;

6 Name: Ang : 2008-07-09 12:11 ID:dDNmLe0y

Hmm...well I would say he is a genuine guy.

1) He is definitely not gay! Haha! He is really sporty.
2) He isnt a playa. He doesnt flirt with everyone LOL.

Hi people Im going to take it that he's into me...probably nto crazy about me, but thats fine. But how do I show that I like him back?
I don't want to just say it out, because Im kind of shy. Is there any good ways that I can show him that I like him without being too direct?

9 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-10 04:46 ID:AosE2p2r

>>6 just so you know, whether a man is sporty or not has no relation as to if he likes other men or not.

10 Name: Ang : 2008-07-10 06:34 ID:dDNmLe0y

Well Im pretty sure hes not gay, I mean hes into things lik soccer and politics, and when we went shopping for a ball dress he didnt seem to have very good fashion sense!

Anyway...are there any good ways that i can show him that Im into him? I dont want to seem too desperate...

common, he's given you every signal there is. he definitely likes you.

do you need a legal notice informing you of this? lol

12 Name: Ang : 2008-07-10 07:39 ID:dDNmLe0y

how do I show him that I like him ><

13 Name: jappie : 2008-07-10 08:58 ID:xGVSA1iu

try to show him that you appreciate what you do for him, or if you think that's not enough, try to do things for him like compliment him and stuff like that, most guys like it when girls compliment us.

anything else??
like...anything physical....? LOL

Thanks so much you guys =] this is really good to know =]

17 Name: jappie : 2008-07-10 09:53 ID:xGVSA1iu

hmmm physical? i cant really say much about that cuz it varies from guy to guy.. why don't you try asking him indirectly what he'd want from you?

18 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-10 10:44 ID:Heaven

>>10 I'm sorry but none of those things relate to whether he is gay or not. This is just for your future reference, I'm not saying he is gay, he most likely is not.

Gay means a man who likes the cock, there is no other qualifier. A gay man can and most often does act/look just like any heterosexual guy does.

19 Name: Ang : 2008-07-10 10:55 ID:dDNmLe0y

>>18 you are starting to scare me....u r saying that a guy who acts like he is into me could just actually be my guy friend who is gay.....

>>17 thanks for your help, so far you have given the best advice i reckon =] You are a guy? So as a guy, what do you look for in a girl?

22 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-10 22:14 ID:P62xxuQ9

Someone who's company I enjoy. They're pleasant, they're interesting, they like talking to me, but they're also just being themselves.

I like them outgoing and willing to sometimes take initiative. This includes tiny things like being the person to initiate conversations. It's a real PITA otherwise, it's like you're talking to someone who isn't interested.

just rape him and get it over with

24 Name: Ang : 2008-07-10 23:20 ID:dDNmLe0y

>>22 thanks so much! thats really helpful =]

Last night I asked him if he wanted to hang out today...go on ferry downtown...he passed on it, and said that he would rather not waste his time and instead stay home to catch up on maths (we are in the same maths class and we are both really really behind). I can respect that...

>When we are on msn, I'm always the one who starts the convo.

Then try no to do this for some time. If he's into you (or if he cares at all) he will talk to you. He might even remark the fact that you didn't speak with him for a while and ask what happens.

26 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-11 09:33 ID:xGVSA1iu

>>24 well if you have the same math class and you two are really behind, why don't you try asking him if you two could study it together? as the saying goes "a problem shared is a problem halved."

27 Name: Ang : 2008-07-11 09:46 ID:dDNmLe0y

we tried studying together for chemistry ( we are also in the same chem class =]) and we ended up talking for lik hald the time LOL.

But yes, I will try and get together with him to study together =] Thanks!!

Omgosh! Last night my mum started asking all these questions about him. And then I told him about it, and also how my mum googled him >.<
I hope my mum didnt freak him out!
Guys out there, if the mum of a girl you liked asked her loads of questions about you, would you get scared? Also if the mum googled you, would you get scared and maybe start avoiding the girl??

Entire post...

Now THAT is just seriously weird... The guy wouldn't get scared until he meets your mom. And what about your dad, he said anything?

31 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-13 03:14 ID:Heaven

Wait what.

32 Name: ang : 2008-07-13 03:30 ID:dDNmLe0y

Nah dad didnt say anything yet...My dad is, well, hes quiet...but anyway thats not very important.

But the thing is, both my parents are against me dating until I'm like in uni. They don't want me to get distracted by guys and affect my school work. So now that they know I got a ball partner, they are like being super annoying(actually just my mum lol), asking me all these questions about him...and last night my mum gave me this huge lecture about guys and at one point she said "you know, girls get pregnant and guys dont". And Im just sitting there thinking WTF?!?!

Sounds like your mom has problems not just with guys but with people in general

Your mom have a bad experience with guys or an unplanned pregnancy by any chance?

LMAO. She is acting like a normal mother... I take it this is the first time your rents have figured that you are anywhere near a relationship? Coz they normally do that.

Mine did, all my mates parents always ask questions about our female friends... (I am a guy!)

Interesting story. Well I know most guys are different from me but I would only put my arm around a girl while walking if I liked her. Though that is me now... as a slightly bit more mature 21 year old. In high school I was known to kiss girls on the cheek that I had absolutely no interest in so he might not like you!

>>36 Yea I think it's the first time that my parents have found out I'm near a relationship...sigh...wish they didnt find out. They are annoying ><

>>37 You kissed random girls on the cheek even if you werent into them....dude't lead on girls! Haha. That actually cracked me up when I read it!

Guys aren't difficult. They act weird because girls are difficult, random and unreadable. Also because they're oblivious to most hints you might drop them.

40 Name: Secret Admirer : 2008-07-16 23:14 ID:kMKmpskJ

lol I know that was wrong to kiss them. I guess I have matured a bit over the years ^_^

Funny thing that different cultures. Over here (I'm french) kissing people on the cheek is something cute to do but really isn't that big of a deal - unless you're always around the same girl/guy planting kisses all the time, of course.

42 Name: ang : 2008-07-17 04:19 ID:5A6/CCT1

>>40 Yea I think he shows more affection when we are alone...=] But I guess we don't get a lot of alone time...We see each other in school. Right now we are on term break, and I have been seeing him for the past few days when we go out for runs with a few other friends. I shall try to get alone with him some time soon^^

It sucks he kept ditching you. But the important thing is that when you think about the whole night you still had an awesome time overall. That's the important part =)
