...but now when I asked her what her AIM Status Message was all about she started talking to me about how guys treat her like shit and she feels used and that she hasn't spoken to any of her other guy friends about it except for me.
And I don't wanna end up in the fucking friendzone, how do I stop that from happening?
the best way to avoid the friend zone is to rush things. Don't waste your days listening her emo stuff.
Try to arrange a meeting irl and rape.
>>3 is right.
Not too sure about rape. But yeah, taking things fast means you are aggressive or "confident" whatever that means nowadays.
OP, remember that everyone on this board is a misogynistic retard - including me - so take everything we say with a pinch of salt. Having said that if she's whining about her problems she's probably just an attention-seeking moron (everyone is, not just women) so if you don't care about her shit just ignore her or try to manipulate her for sex like >>3 and >>4 suggest; if you do care about her shit then talk to her and be all like "Ooooh that's so sad..." or whatever sensitive emotional people do.
She wants someone to talk to. So listen to her and be like hmm hmm, and "that sucks" and "that's so horrible". DO NOT give any advice unless she asks for it. She wants sympathy, she wants someone she can vent to and she doesn't want someone to fix it. So just listen to her if you are willing to put up with it. If you don't feel like listening then tell her you are sorry but she needs to talk to someone else about her problems. If you put up with it she may be grateful later on and develop feelings for you.

My first post on /love/ receives critical acclaim. I don't know whether to be pleased or worried.

Granted this thread is a month old, but make a move! Don't want to be stuck in the friend zone? Don't get there in the first place- ask her out on a date.
