How do I meet girls? (12)

Dear 4ch. I've got severe problems with meeting and getting along with girls in my area.
All girls I've fallen for lately live hours away, which've been a major contributor to make none of them become relationships.
For the time being, moving is not an option.

I know how you feel, I'm an electrical engineering major and the number of girls in my classes could be counted on my fingers and half my toes. I think if you really, really are committed to meeting new people you're going to have to force yourself to try new clubs. If you have friends who do have parties, go, even if you don't drink. Maybe you'll meet someone there (and dammit, just talk to them. You WON'T die on the spot and hopefully everyone else will be too drunk to notice your awkward advances).

Considering your interests I would check if there are photography and anime-related activities in your uni. And if not, then have a wider look. There must be more stuff available in your town.

There's no anime-related activities, and the photography club has been dead for years. There's really no active clubs suiting me there.
It's a small town, so there's nothing interesting outside of the uni either.
If there were, I would've joined something already.

if the photography club is dead, why don't you restart it? This would a good reason for you to leave your computer, and would make you have a lot more contacts within the university,...

Although it is hard especially at a university conclave within a small town to meet new people, I make myself do as much as I can outside of "school". Even if you're not really into it, try maybe joining a society or group doing something that you haven't done before, but have maybe toyed with the idea... you get what I mean. Maybe you'll actually enjoy it... I always have to think about that scene in american pie when chris joins the choir for the birds...
