We've known each other for years. We've been attracted to each other for years. We've avoided getting together for years. Now we're together.
We have a lot more in common than we used to, but we're still very awkward with each other. We've been on a few dates, and on our second date (which came more than four months after the first date, due to our hectic schedules), it took like, two and a half hours for us to start holding hands and cuddling.
Most days we run into each other on campus and hang out a little there, but other than that, we almost never talk on anything but AIM. I leave the occasional message when I can't get to a computer, and she calls me occasionally to talk about something serious, but other than that... All AIM.
Even though we're dating, we can go days without seeing each other, though after a few days I go out of my way to see her, and she does the same.... Though, we both do it pretending we don't notice the other doing it.
I don't know what she's thinking. I'm starting to become a little bit more open with her now, but she also doesn't know what I'm thinking, to a large extent. We are shy and awkward.
My friends tell me I should call more often. I want to call more often but don't want to be clingy. Also, we both hate phones, and neither of us want an extremely heavy relationship. Also, there is nothing to talk about.
Where do I go from here, 4-ch?
tl;dr: We're both awkward as hell, it's taken us a long time to get started, and I have no idea what to do next.
