Yet another complete failure of a thread.

Please put some effort into starting your threads, people! EXPLAIN what you're talking about. Provide INFORMATION for those who are not familiar with it. Give it a title that is representative of the contents, and can easily be found with a search on the thread page.

And for god's sake, CAPITALIZE and SPELL correctly. Don't write like some kind of retarded twelve-year-old gamer.

Are you denying this thread has totally failed? You got a single post about how somebody didn't know what you were talking about.

Hey this is my first post on these forums, I really enjoyed the episodes of Zero no Tsukaima. I've been looking around but havent been able to find out, did this series come from a manga? and if it did, anyone know a place to read it at?

so, are novels (not graphic novels/manag) starting to get popular in Japan?

"Starting"? Light novels have been very popular for a long, long time.

There is a group that is going to start translating the novels, im so excited ^^

There will never be a decent fan translation of a novel. It's just too much work to do it right.

There might be shitty ones, but never a really good one.

Looking at that list, it seems more and more are being turned into anime, with 7 of them having had anime that ran this year. It seems like it used to be a rarer thing.

Maybe it's the next anime trend?

>>13 Vampire Hunter D and Slayers were made from light novels but I think your right about more anime being made from them. It seems like anime used to only be made from manga or totally original but now as more and more anime is made companies are looking for other ways to get their stories from.

Here is the order of the anime trends

manga --> anime
videogame --> anime
eroge --> anime
lightnovel --> anime
