I don't really get what the software is for, but afais, you only learn to remember where each note on the fretboard is. I don't really get how they can promise to become a 'genius' guitar player in less than 60 minutes, because (in my opinion) that's theoretically and above all theortically impossible.

It's good to know the notes on the fretboard, but it won't do you any good without a little knowledge of basic theory. I'd suggest working on that, as well as just simply learning songs. Remember to have fun or what's the point?

I bought this softwtare from Mr Mike Slaiter. Do not make the mistake of buying this software... it's RUBBISH !!. Learning the the BASS takes time and effort. this 60 minute genius is a complete LIE.
All it is, is some stupid made up story to remember the notes on the fret. WHy go through learning the story when you can remember the 7 notes which is fewer than the a 3 or 4 para story. He doesn't tell you how to apply what you have memorised.. THis is his promise or sales pitch... "You will be a music genius if you memorise 7 notes on the fret board" ??? cheap rubbish !!
You best put the money towards something like bassguitarsecrets.com. MR Slaiter is a 1st class lier I have ever come accross. I have aksed for a refund and has not done so. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS SOFTWARE or listen to or read what ever he says .. you have been warned!!.

You know, I just found this thread. What a bunch loosers you are play hatin' someone with an idea simply because you don't agree or don't believe is possible. Sensing a bit of jealousy.
I'm a self-taught musician (mainly piano but I play guitar also). I also taught music theory for many years but I no longer have the time. And I didn't teach crap like probably many of you, I taught college level shit.
But here are my two cents on this. You cannot expect a piece of software or even the best of music teachers to make you a master musician, that's impossible because it all depends on you, how perceptive or dumb you are.
So I can undertand that he's stretching it a bit when he says you'll learn in 60 minutes. But give him a break (even though he's kind of dumb, lol), anything that can teach you the fretboard in a short amount of time even if it takes 6 months when compared to 6 years is worth it, regardless of how lame it looks.
In fact, I'm gonna buy it, just for the hell of it. Ya'll just playa hatin 'cause u didn't think of it first, that's all. So put your efforts in learning something instead of being all jealous and shit.

i was thinking about buying it, but then i googled it and found this which led me to just getting it from limewire... it wasnt even worth my time let alone 30 bucks.. his "technieque" is not secret or an invention of his own. it is nothing but using the first letter (or note in this case)to form a story. i used this in grade school before i even played guitar for the order of classifying animals (Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species)<- King Phill Cooked Oatmeal For Great Servants. its just that simple

First of, downloading music and movies is legal in some countries. Also the program is nothing more than a 7 page introduction to the fretboard. For god's same, looking the same thing up on Wikipedia gives you the same ammount of information, without useless babble.
Also 28,000 tabs have a worth of $24.99, hahaha, oh wow, he didn't even make them himself, same probabaly goes for all other extras.
Any decent guitarist would be happy to teach the same thing for free.

95% of my friends are talented musicians, and most of them agree that the music industry needs to die and download songs. They put theirs on Jamendo and websites like this. And they still have their dream and it's not corrupt. But I won't enter this debate with you. You seem to be happy with the situation as is.
