I like them a lot, but by no means are they the best headphone around. Theyre a great "first pair" of decent phones and you will definatly notice an improvement over whatever it is you listen to now.

Im not sure what music you listen to, but they say the grado sound suits rock/pop more than it might suit classical/opera.

You should probably try a pair before you buy some to see if the sound is for you, plus they arent the most comfortable pair of phones ever.
