That's what Visual Kei is. It's called, Visual Type, an emphasis on looks. But the music is also very good. And if you people don't like it, don't rain down on our parade about it.
Also, if you did know a thing, you'd know it's not "dead" or "not popular anymore."
Look at some of the girls you see in Tokyo, Harajuku, walking around in Gothic Lolita, or Oshare Kei.
It's still very popular, and is growing.
Sure, America has pushed it's way over to Japan, and has settled musical influences there, but to say Visual Kei is dead is pretty oblivious.
J-Rock Revolution, May 25th and 26 (which I attended), a couple of the bands were Visual Kei.
Just because some people give J-Rock/Visual Kei a bad name doesn't mean you should flame it.
