But even funnier is the Japanophiles/weeaboos (and yes if you're not Japanese, including if your Chinese or whatever other Asian, you are a weeaboo) that think that as long as they hate Japanese pop culture, it makes them not a weeaboo anymore. No, if you genuinely disliked Japanese culture, you would not know the name of every single band or whatever that was popular at the height or whatever of whatever trend. You wouldn't even bother because you would have just heard it a few times, said, "meh" and left it alone.
You're still a weeaboo, just one that's fooling themselves into thinking that they somehow aren't, and that somehow by hating some or often many parts of Japanese culture, it somehow makes you more legitimate, like that copypasta of the guy claiming to hate weeaboos, and then asking his chances of becoming Japanese.
