i'm not a fan of music in general but i want to start listening to music. but when i turn on the radio, i get annoyed by rap, rock, r&b, etc etc etc or anything that is just loud and annoying. what should i listen to?!?! (btw classical doesn't work for me either)...u can also list specific songs. :D

You're looking for Experimental/Ritual music (sometimes falls under the category of 1970's progressive rock, or electronic/electronica depending on who you're looking up and the country they're from).

Look up Zero Kama and Korpses Katatonik. Perfect example.

Try some spanish hard dance, aka 'cantadas' or 'poky music'
It's different to any kind of music, is a unique experience.
I also reccomend you some minimal house music, as well as spanish progressive
look for artists like 'christian millan', 'siliccom', 'oscar akagy', 'pastis & buenri'
you'll be surprised with the power of spanish dance music ;)
