mostly ridiculous crossdressers. but the bit i've seen weeaboos listen to might not be considered to be /real/ rock by many over there.
and they might think we only listen to britney spears and creed.

I believe all becoz J-rock mantains old styles of music which rarely found in American mainstream arena. They fills the wat we don't have...

Instead of looking into American mainstream music, which by the way is turning crappier and crappier, look into underground and not-so-famous musicians. You'll find that a lot of music out there is really great. This is because the vast majority of mainstream music is the product of "musicians" under big name corporations that only care about profit. These companies view music as a commodity, not as art. I'm sure Japanese mainstream music is the way it is because Japanese people really like it as it is. The current state of Japanese music is the most profitable state to the industry...at the moment. They may be where Western music was back in the 60's-80's. But, the Japanese music industry may eventually end up as shitty as the American music industry.

Makes me feel like all my guitar playing and practicing won't make me famous because I'm not as good looking as the members of the Jonas Brothers (another bunch of manipulated "artists"). Nobody cares about an average-looking blues rock guitarists (John Mayer is our only hope).

My point is that these days looks are becoming more important than actual talent. Major labels already have their artists lip syncing during live shows. Now they use pitch correcting devices to make singers sound perfect.
