A Fox affiliate has recently done a news report on Anonymous, referring to them as "hackers on steroids" and an "internet hate machine."

4chan then picked up on it and has subsequently proceeded with trolling the everliving crap out of said affiliate's forums.

The news is all over the *chans right now as I speak.

In related news, G4 Tech Tv did a blurb about the anonymous situation, naming 4chan in the process. There's supposed to be some sort of larger report about "anonymous" today or tomorrow, so now on 4chan they're pretty much going haywire in anticipation of the inevitable newfag flood. The next couple of days they're probably going to flood themselves with guro or /d/ or CP material. A scorched earth strategy, if you will.

Turns out there was no mention of it on Wednesday or Thursday after all. Although they did seem to make some subtle references to it on Thursday. So either they chickened out or they just trolled the fuck out of 4chan.
