they have so many boards...
You are a tripcode thief! I am calling the internet police on you!
2ch is dying
It's been happening for a while now. The dead of 2ch is unavoidable. English textboards and imageboards have been declining noticeably for a long time as well. Many people have already quit. I, personally, will stay till the very end, shitposting about Avery Morrow.
I suck dicks
This isn't true you know. Is being unable to separate your own dissatisfaction with something and its popularity really so ubiquitous in these parts? The only thing that I would agree is moribund is the western aping of 00s otaku culture.
I love the low post-rate of a lot of these sites. Independently, they sort of make up what resembles and could be comparable in the English to what would only be 2ch. The reason they're worth using is because they are strictly unlinked (for the most part) - this non-centralization aspect to these sort of places fosters a great amosphere for higher-quality posts, which of course is aided by the lower post rates, which is kept that way because the types of people using them can only be the kind of people who will spend time on these places for a while to begin with. Things are intrinsically not green, while at the same time keeping overgrowth slow. The way it is now is an ideal environment for the reasons why I at least still use these places. In this respect, we've already reached a "bitter end" - which in our case actually tastes pretty sweet
What is the point of a text board when books and e-mail exist?
shitposting is fun and has some semblance of social interaction
Reddit has many subforums. In fact, users can create their own subforums.
