This just in:
Intolerance is gay.
About the word "gaijin", it doesn't really mean "foreigner" or "foreign person", there is no direct equivalent in English.
It has more of the same connotation as "goyim" in Hebrew, or "gadjo" to gypsies, meaning someone not of our racial/ethnic group.
It is by definition an exclusionary term, in ways that "foreigner" or "gaikokujin" are not.
Being a foreigner is a matter of citizenship and where you are at the moment, not a permanent identity.
That being said, it's kind of pointless to get upset at someone using the term.
It's too deeply ingrained, and tells you more about the person using the term than about you.

Caution!
Korean-agents(KCIA) are in this BBS.
