Not necessarily true. If it's computer technology that you are talking about, for example, then English
can't be helped. But when there are perfectly fine Japanese words for English ones, excessive usage
is taken to be annoying. If you are talking about anime songs, then that beats me. But in the same vein,
in English rap songs, for example, words like "sizzle" aren't really English, are they?
