Trouble focusing (6)

I've always had trouble focusing; it's always been one of my biggest problems and screwed me over more times than I can count. I seem to always find something to distract me from what I should be doing - eating, web-surfing, thinking/dreaming about other projects, playing Sudoku, etc. I seem to have particular trouble with writing.

I've got a lot of important stuff to get done this weekend. I was wondering if anyone had any good tips for concentrating. Anything that's worked for you - systems of rewards, meditation, whatever. I keep messing up my life while playing Solitaire, and that's got to stop.

Think about how you will feel once your done. I had this big history project to do, and I kept wanting to give myself breaks. So I just thought, think of the big break you'll get once your done. The feeling of being finished beats any game of solitaire.

Im not the OP, but I have the same problem. I think I'm gonna try this the next time I have something big to do, sounds like a good idea.

Take baby elephant steps

Divide it into sections you can handle

and approach each one by one.

Go get help. Chance is that you have ADD.
Even if you don't, the tips here may be of great use for you:
