Eat low-protein high-carbohydrate diet and skip breakfast or make long periods of fasting like skipping dinner: this keeps insulin down and glucagon up which is the signal for the tissues in the body to consume protein.

Also if you want to reduce the size of the muscle but have it well defined it depends on the kind of exercise you perform.
