I was driving with two of my friends the other day, when they decided to light up their pipe. My friend, the driver, took a couple hits from the other one's pipe while he was at the wheel. It made me see both of them in a new light. Why can't I find anyone else who thinks that's a stupid fucking idea?
Wow...this exact thing happened to me the other day! The only thing is, this has been going on for a while now, so I guess I'm pretty "used to it" or at least thats what I tell myself...I hear ya though...it is a pretty stupid move. I can't even talk to my friends about it without them becoming pissed off. Hmmm...maybe it's time to find some new friends...
I couldn't care less if they wanted to smoke pot, I might even join them. But while you're fucking driving? No one needs to smoke that goddamn bad. I dunno, I just think it's pointlessly putting yourself in harm's way for no good reason.

I've got smart friends who've been similarly stupid in the past. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. I'm glad we never got killed. There's nothing wrong with telling people they need to wait until they're not behind the damn wheel.

Where was the studies location? It says evidence from Canada but does not tell any locations. Is this all of Canada? If that is true, is this taking from numbers of years or in a month(s) period? This "evidence" does not give enough information to be justifiable.
Link me to a news story or similar about one accident caused by marijuana "intoxication", and I'll take back what I said.

While I have no reservations about private use of marijuana, it's simply not a good idea to be high and driving and it's also criminal in many jurisdictions.
"It's not as bad as being drunk" is a poor argument for anything and it should be noted that driving slow does not equal driving safe, especially on a freeway.
Yeah I don't think driving while stoned is such a good idea. I ran over either a small dog or a cat, or maybe some random small wild animal one night on my way home in a rural area. I thought it was a piece of garbage or something on the road then it got up and started to run away but it was too late. I heard a creepy, life scarring sound after that as my tire crushed it.
Since about 2 months ago I've been off marijuana (as well as cigarettes, yay), and that was about 3 months ago.. towards the end there I was kinda going crazy. Marijuana can be good for introspection and philosophizing but after a while it can get out of hand..
My friends do that. I'm 21 now...trust me OP some people really never mature and it is sad.
at first i was scared to be in my friends car when he drove stoned. but after a while i realized he could drive just fine. personally, i would never drive stoned. i guess it depends on the person driving. some people can handle it, some people can't.
