Hi Anon, it's Anon here. Lately has been really hard for me to get a decent rest. I usually need >10 hours os straight sleep i order to function decently the rest of the day, but haven't bee able to get even six in weeks. My grades are dropping, an d i believe my grammar and typing is getting everyday worse, and those are the things that worry me the less. Next week is almost a full week holiday here, so i'm expecting to be able to sleep all ay, ltierally. But, i need o survive this week.

So, hat's my little story. I'm thinking od skipping class tomorrw and stay at a firend's house. He worls all day, so i'll probable be able to sleep there.

Why do you lack sleep? Too much work? Stress? Depression? MMORPGs?

Get offline first.

If there's a problem in your life, like too much work, you still need to sleep first before you deal with it.

Op here again. Insomnia. Stress i believe. I do try to sleep, to no avail. Tonight i'll get some pills, and i wlli try to sleep all day at my grandmother's.

I can't believe i came to college just because i had nothing better to do. ._.

i've had the same problem for years... get a prescription for amitriptyline (brand name elevil), it's awesome. it's not a sleeping pill, it's an anti- anxiety pill- it shuts your brain off so you can rest. it doesn't really make you drowsy, it just makes everything seem pretty comfy and sleep seem like the best idea ever.

good stuff, wish i had gotten it years ago.

Are you getting enough exercise and a good diet?

Why do you need so much sleep? That's not normal. You should talk to a doctor, there might be something else going on... sleep apnea or sleepwalking or something. Something's not right... needing to sleep all day and all night is very bad. Wait... do you sleep all night, or just all day? Do you have a roommate/boyfriend/girlfriend? You should ask him/her if you've been doing anything unusual when you try to sleep.

Actually unhealthy lifestyle can mess with your sleep.

But good thing if it's not the case here.
