Where to find contacts (9)

What sites are there where I can find near-hikikomori messenger contacts? Preferably ones who I can chat to about anime, gaming, that sort of stuff. Anonidate is down, and every other site I've seen like okcupid is garbage. Everywhere I look on the internet, people seem to be well adjusted and outgoing and I can't relate, even anonidate to some extent.

I'm asking because after 6 weeks of university and having met no one I'd consider a friend I'm kind of frustrated and need someone to talk to. Before you say go to the anime club or something, I did, they were physically repellent and I can only bring myself to talk to people from there via IRC.

why do you make things difficult to yourself? Why do you want to have contacts with hikikomori, the precise segment of people that are exceptionally talented at avoiding social contact like the plague?

It's a bit like looking for monks to go clubbing,...

Go out with well adjusted people, and learn from them the ropes of social skills. And when you are missing the hikikomori fix you can just come back here at 4ch, which is not in short supply of maladjusted sociophobics. ^_^

anonib.com/hikki is tailored for us shut-ins. Other than that, I don't know any more active hikki communities than 2ch itself.

Also, err, >>2 - for people who at the expense of their family have wasted many precious resources sitting inside their rooms all day in absolute isolation, for months, years on end, it's not exactly easy to just "stop".

>>4 I do not doubt it, it's an uphill battle. But if on top of that you try to reach people who suffer from the same problem, you are just making the slope twice as steep.

Oh, also lets request that anonidate add a hikki category. I did so, but I'm probably the only one who did...

No one ever talks on #4-ch. I would go on but there's no point [I'm not OP].

I dunno when the last time you went is, but people often talk nowadays. Especially if you say something and/or wait a while, not expecting an answer in 30 seconds.
