A flexible lifestyle? (3)

Since I'm starting community college today and all. I am completely clueless on what I should become during my course of another 4 years of school [2 years CC and 2 years @ a university]. Besides that. I was wondering what sort of jobs were flexible, meaning. I can work a set of hours, and yet have time to take off whenever I want. Go traveling, conventions, the big sa-bang. I know the closet job and that would be becoming a teacher. Is there anything else that can fall into such a lifestyle?

There's no particular job that fills your critirea - it really depends on the company. I work at a company with Flex-Time, so We work 8-5 but you can really work whenever you want as long as you end up with 80 hours after two weeks. Time off usually accrues with paychecks - like 2 hours each paycheck or something.

Best bet is an office job, really. Those aren't as dependent on schedules. If you become a mechanic or something simmilar, the shifts are more ordered.

Unrealistic expectations as to the range of your education. Expect 4 years of CC and 4 years of university. Approx. 10 years education.
