Tell me, why is there an ad for the alien worshipping cult on this page?
Seriously, I know SOME people might buy into that, but this is freaking creepy especially with that whole "chan boards vs scientology" or whatever.
...Anyone know any good ad blocker programs that would work on this board?
I never noticed ads on 4-ch. I guess Adblock Plus does its job well.

It's an add-on for Firefox. Just go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Add-ons and search Adblock Plus. Provided you're using Firefox, of course.
There's an ad for Scientology on mine. :P
At least the basic CAPTCHA Turing-repels automated ads, because when PCs can read those, paranoid anonimity will have to be exchanged for profiles (if you hate ads).
But personally, I don't mind the ads, Squeeks needs her site moola to come from somewhere. Then again, perhaps I'm biased... ads don't effect skeptics, rhetoricists, pragmatists, idealists, hypnotists, or hypocrites. Some of those apply to me and most are even true!
