so, a friend of mine came over a while ago. we were doing hw, and somehow got onto the topic of periods. (i'm a guy, she's a chick) and i told her how period blood is in my top 5 gross out things. like, i cant STAND it. if i see a bloody tampon or pad i start to gag.
she starts saying how it's just regular blood and we get into what i thought was just a playful argument of her poking fun at my getting grossed out. I guess she started getting really annoyed with me for it (wtf). it's not like i'm just gonna be a like "oh yea, your right it's just normal blood so i'm now not grossed out by it at all."
so then some awkward silence goes by, and she says she'd better go. being a gentleman i walk her out to her car and i ask her why she's so annoyed/upset. she just replies being like "you should know". then i told her i didnt know what she was talking about, and she said "that's just even more annoying" and drove off.
wtf is wrong with her. did i do something wrong? btw, i know she's not on her period. she had it 2 weeks ago about.

your "playful argument" feel heavily biased towards your stance. I can't really give you an objective advice without going into detail of this argument without any sort of bias. so if you're willing, care to expand more on this argument?

"I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one!"

Don't waste your time worrying about her man.. life is too short to worry 'bout a trippin ho.

She probably wasn't even mad at you about the period thing. she started the argument bcuz she wa mad at u for something else. she was mad at u b4 she even came over. the period thing was just a way to start a fight.

that's how bitches roll yo. devious reverse minded convoluted thoughts.

Well,... It's kind of normal that people don't like one side of them to disgust others. I think you went on too long on that tangent, and at some point she just could not take it anymore and it got personal.

I also think there's not much to worry about. It's more like a valuable lesson, next time you'll learn to be more cautious.

Woman reporting.

Idiot. I'm probably responding to a troll, but call me PMS or w/e, idc. Anyone in their right might would know it's a sensitive topic and you shouldn't have raised it in the first place.
Some girls are really open (to the extent of proud) about periods, but most girls find it uncomfortable to talk about. It sounds to me that you started some unreasonable shit, and didn't give her a way out. How gentlemanly of you.
I'm sure you have the common sense to at least put yourself in her position. If she was picking you up on guys getting wet dreams/morning wood or w/e, saying it's so lame and laughable, wouldn't you be finding her obnoxious? She has no experience in what men go through and yet she makes these outrageous statements that make you feel embarrassed and demeaned. Get my drift?
And just because she's not on her period now, doesn't mean that your comments didn't apply to her.

>>5 I find this use-ful, i found myself in this situation except at work...except she was on her periods, she got slightly personal but knows it was just a joke in the end so it was all good.

as for putting guys in the same position...i dont think it works cos...morning wood happens like....every morning, theres nothing to diss about a daily thing...

Girl here.

If you were a girl and you bleed and a guy cames and saying that stuff, you will feel the same.

You can't really compare blokey secretions to periods, but that's a way of getting some perspective. I can sort of understand, especially since for them it's involuntary.
