Was at a friends house recently having some hookah and just relaxing with the usual gang of people when the subject of life came up. One of my friends dreams of being a huge actor, another wants to be a doctor and another still is getting in shape to join the police academy. When the ball was passed to me i just froze up because i knew that i didn't have a dream like any of them. the problem with me is that i over think everything and i can't recall just diving straight into anything, not a major at school, not a relationship, not anything! I mean i really don't know how people do it even i the over-analyzing neurotic mess that i am can not get my head around it, do they just dive in knowing that success will come or not and continue in spite of any shortcomings? Are they just ignorant that because they took all the right classes and was in all the right places that they'll get their dream job? If they realize they're terrible at what they do will they continue on with their plans regardless? I AM SO CONFUSED! So here i am, sophomore in college (credits wise but i am in my 3rd year), undecided major, no job, no girlfriend, living at parents house. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sometimes you just need to let life takes it's own path. Choose your road and let life guide you on that road. I believe that's what some people do regarding their dreams.

Now when it comes to giving up dreams, it's a whole other story. Some will give up when they think it's impossible, others will give up only when they failed a few times, others simply won't give up despite it being obvious that it's impossible and others will just sit the dream aside until a more suitable scenario comes.
