Going #2 not at home (6)

I am a 20 year old female. I have a strange problem in that I am really scared to take a shit around other people. For example, i stayed at my friends house for 2 weeks and during the first 4 days i couldn't shit at all. I would sit on the toilet and try to push but out of fear nothing would come out. I ended up being able to shit while we were both staying at a hotel during a trip.

3 weeks ago i stayed at a hotel for 3 days with my boyfriend and I kept it in for 3 days. I just couldn't go.

Im going to move in with the said boyfriend soon. I am really scared of taking a shit while living with him. i know this sound ridiculous but i had no where else to post.

Someone walking into the bathroom after i've gone and smelling it just scares me. But if i walk into the bathroom after someone else went i dont think much of it.

Do guys think its weird if their gf takes a crap?
Advice on how to over come this.

Im serious.

I haven't had an actual gf before, and it may be because of my views, but I don't mind if my future gf takes a crap, or has to take a piss, or has to eat for that matter. If any boyfriend has a problem with their girlfriend taking a crap, then there's something wrong with the boyfriend. You're alright.

I have a wife. When you live some time with someone, you'll see a lot of intimate stuff (shitting, barfing, farting, belching, etc). I don't mean to say that my everyday life is a suite of horrendous exposure to organic liquids and sounds, but simply that incidents do happen when you live together, and you need to be more open and tolerant to others and yourself.

This being said, living with your SO does not mean that you have to completely expose your intimacy. It's up to you and him to establish and maintain boundaries that both of you are comfortable with. Just as an example, in my couple it's fine to pee while the other is also in the toilet, but #2 is taboo. Farts are tolerated if there is some forewarning (and it's just too inconvenient to isolate yourself on time). I don't say these rules are logic, but they work for us. We did not really discussed them, they just emerged.

To wrap it up, there's nothing strange about your problem, most of us are embarrassed about these issues, but we learn to deal with them, just the same we learn to accept that kissing and having sex are not just disgusting exchanges of organic fluids.

Girls poop?

I for one am shocked and appalled!

..No but really, it's not a problem. If someone can't accept you because of a natural function of your body they have a serious mental problem. :|

Yes, I also had no idea girls pooped. I'm not sure what I'll do now I've found this out. How will I live with this knowledge.

But other than that, I guess having to poop near other people is indeed embarrassing, if it's your boyfriend just ask him to go to another room or something which isn't close to the bathroom.
