if it's possible to sustainably provide basic needs like food and housing and medical care for every human, i want that done.
there are a few issues in the personal realm which the state has a legitimate reason to act on (e.g. Fair Housing Act in response to neighborhood segregation in the United States). for everything else, people should look after themselves and those they love.

Seeing politics in an ideological manner is Pleb-tier at best. You should change your politics according to the situation. I don't like fascism and would prefer Christian feudal monarchs as per the Early-High Middle Ages, but fascism is a lot more helpful (partly because of how versatile it is) right now than feudal monarchs will ever be, not until the inevitable collapse of Western society a la every other civilization to come before it.

I'm a libertarian, so I don't think there should be a state, because it is illegitimate.

The government should exist to protect people from others and that's it. Environmental laws, anti-violence laws, health and safety standards; all fine. But it should't do much else besides minimal anti-corporate laws to prevent the formation of an oligarchy

People keep saying that everything is going to collapse, but I kind of doubt it. We're so advanced at this point that everything's become self sustaining. Even if one country collapses, the internet has already spread its culture far enough that it doesn't matter much in the long term. The only way things will really fall apart is if a cataclysmic event happens that wipes everything out
