I was wondering about having a debate board added to 4-ch. It would spark some interest and discussion in the site as long as there are some strict guidelines put into place. I'm sure that the people of 4-ch would like to give their opinion on the world's pressing topics! The only major problems I can see are people being off topic and trolls, but as long as there is a guideline for people not to flame, it should work out OK. If anything, it would bring in more people. I don't even know if there is an anonymous board with a place for debate yet (I'm sure there is somewhere), but this is just a suggestion.
Debate boards always turn into religious flame-fests. If you want to be reduced to arguing like a 12 year old over the existence of fictional characters and a storybook and why you believe in them or not, go yell it out on the street.
