Just my 2 cents, the world is in one of it's coldest times in history. Not record, but very cold. Dinos lived in average 30C, it's 14C now.

north pole ice body is mainly inside the sea already, so it would not contribute that much to the sea level. but south pole is a land that has a large amount of water on it in form of ice, if those were to melt, then yea , we will have our water world. something like tsunami everywhere, only really slower

global warming is happening...despite what the politicians think they aint qualified (although they are in a position...unfortunately) to decide if its goin on or not, its the scientists that do, if organizations like CSIRO and big names in the scientific community like stephen hawking and david attemborugh say theres global warming, i think it would be stupid to argue otherwise.
and no i dont think it would reach the extent of the movie waterworld...of course a significant fraction of the world would be submerged under water IF the polar ice caps completely melted...but it would be a very gradual and slow proccess, and even now some countries are really cutting back on the CO2 emmissions so from the way its looking at now i dont think it would ever reach the point of a flood.
