light speed travel and time dilation. (5)

Basicly as one aproaches the speed of light time seams to slow down for the traveler.
So 75 years standing still would seam like only an hour when moving near the speed of light.
So if one could come close to light speed than worry about trips of great distances becomes less about the trip taking too long and more about controlling the ship at such high velocity.
Does anybody know a formulae to calculate the effects of time dilation given the velocity of the traveler?

The first equation on there, it gives you a fairly good explanation. I'd like to read some more books about relativity actually, don't know where to start though.

Thanks for the link.
Guess that going near the speed of light isn't enough to keep you from dying of old age.
