rsync is awesome. I'm 95% sure it's what OS X's Time Machine (think Windows System Restore/Shadow Volume Service) uses. Oldish Win32 port. Cygwin+rsync easy to use package.

I've two questions:

+I use a standard PC 104-key USB keyboard plugged with a MacBook Pro running OS X. I would like to use the home, end, pgup, pgdown, etc buttons with it, but they don't work. If possible, I'd rather not have to hold some retarded quintuple-bucky keycombo to achieve the Shift+Home or Ctrl+ArrowKey type behavior you see in oh, say, every other fucking text editing GUI ever made that's worth it's salt. Even just a pointer to the right configuration panel would be greatly appreciated.

+The built in OS X Terminal app does weird things with very dark greys (irssi hashmarks surrounding nicknames) even if it's at 100% bg opacity. Putty in Windows displays them properly -- I guess it could be the monitor profile settings in OS X. Also, for some reason IME doesn't work with it (even though it does support unicode up to at least UTF-8 if you copy and paste). It just sucks in general IMO. Does anyone know if iTerm (or any other alternative OS X terminal app) will fix these issues, preferably without sucking in general?

TIA. Also, please feel free to keep the "lol you're a macfag" comments to yourselves. I am aware that some of you may hold this opinion, and may even be correct, but I do not give a flying fuck.
