is it possible to transfer my c: drive to a new harddrive without having to reinstall windows and everything? is it possible to just ghost my current harddrive and have that image placed on a bigger harddrive. This way, i can upgrade my c: without having to reinstall all my programs and windows and everything.

Given the right software (Acronis has something specifically for this I think, http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/migrateeasy/), that should be doable. But I'd suggest you use this opportunity to upgrade and reinstall all your stuff.

I had thought about upgrading and reinstalling but over the past while i've customized my windows and everything so much that to do it all again would be overwelming. I don't remember how i even did a lot of it so i am hoping to avoid that if possible.

it says there is a fully functional 15 day trial. since i'm only migrating everything once and it shouldn't take more than 15 days, would I be missing out on anything not getting the full version?
