Overheating Laptop? (1)

I got a ZT laptop about three months ago, and it ran fine until about a week ago, when I started to get some lag in my gaming. I downloaded Speedfan and noticed that my processors are running at about 55 Celsius idle and around 70 Celsius while gaming. This seemed really high to me, as my desktop runs at about 30 Celsius. I air-dusted it, and opened it up and checked the fan. The fan isn't delivering much suction power, but it is running as quickly as it should. I have it propped up on a cooling-thing, but it has no fans - it just lets air get underneath it.

So, my question is, is this high for a gaming laptop, should I be worried, and what should I do to fix it? The fan on the inside doesn't really look replaceable, as it's inside some kind of a large, oddly-shaped heatsink. Here's the specs.

ZT laptop
2.00 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM
Geforce 8600M GT 512MB
250GB SATA HDD

I'm considering opening it up and applying some arctic silver, but getting to the processor is such a pain that I want to know if I really have a problem before tanking any steps. Oh, and it's not under warranty anymore.

Thanks ahead of time.
