unknown burglar alarm! (2)

i just moved into a house and i have absolutely no idea how to operate the burglar alarm. it appears to be in "day mode" and i don't know if there is a code set or anything. i don't want to just fuck about with the buttons to try and figure out how it works like i would if it was pretty much anything else, because i might set the bloody thing off. there's no LCD display or anything helpful like that, just a row of LEDs, and it has no visible model name/number/manufacturers name that might assist in googling for the manual, just a small textless logo

well, i took the front off the other day and found out its a Pyronix Sterling Compact. ah well.
