Hi guys. I'm been having problems with my dns lately, and there are certain places such as facebook and gaijin.clwich i cannot access. It's not the squid being a bitch or anything like that, it the DNS. When i have such proiblems, i usually just go and edit my host file, but i'll be using portable firefox for a while, so i won't be at my home computer for a couple of months.

My question is; is possible to force firefox to look for a specific file, like -edited file-dns, instead of -host file-DNS?

Try using http://www.chrisfinke.com/addons/url-fixer/ to redirect problem domains to their IP addresses?

But, what that addon does is just to fix the typos in the url, right?
