Using an Xbox 360 USB Controller For Emulation on Computer (3)

I play emulated games every now and again on the computer when I get bored, or in the downtime of an online match with console games. I have an Xbox 360 USB controller, which can also be used as a gamepad for the computer.

It controls fine, the only problem is that my computer is convinced that it is a headset/controller combo. Therefor, the audio goes to the controller, and since the controller has no audio output, I hear no audio.

It sounds like a small problem, but it's a lot more annoying than it sounds.

Trouble shooting has only led me to check my Direct X files.

Any help, please?

Check your settings in the tray audio thingy

Getting the headset that goes with the controller always works.
