So, my sister gave me the first season as a belated Christmas present, and at first I was really exited. To me, Pete and Pete was the television show that defined my childhood, as weird as that sounds, and I was worried that the show wouldn't be as good as I remembered.

So me and my sister went downstairs to watch he first three episodes, and we both agree that it's better than we remember. Because we're older now, we can understand some more of the complex themes, and we aren't disgusted by the whole Ellen and Big Pete thing.

In other words, If you enjoyed watching Pete and Pete as a kid, and you haven't seen it since the 1990's, it's most definitely worth another look.
