Just watched the movie today. Is it a drama, or just a movie? I've read its a drama too. I like reading the original threads, they're really cool.

Never heard of a drama movie?

3 Name: Couch Potato : 2008-01-17 12:29 ID:Heaven

If such a word existed it would refer to almost all movies.

Currently watch the series right now and I'm really enjoy it a lot. Can't wait to rent the movie, should be excellent one. Saw snippets of actual forum and was amazed at it.

Alright, I watched Densha movie, drama and also manga! (plus it's real 2ch postings!). I loved the drama more! ^-^

20 Name: Couch Potato : 2008-06-16 11:17 ID:Heaven

i have one problem with the drama
hermes[i mean ito misaki]
lol
she is one of the best looking girls i have ever seen
and she is funny
but in densha
she just stand there and look pretty and its all she do
i think its a waste that they didnt let her do more stuff

21 Name: Couch Potato : 2008-06-25 06:46 ID:ykisu1Yh

I finished reading the novel yesterday, and bought the DVD. I've watched 2 episodes.

>20 Ito Misaki is really pretty! I think she suits the part well, but should do more stuff

@Couch Potato: is there really 2ch posting of densha??

25 Name: Couch Potato : 2008-10-08 05:29 ID:93zICmML

See- http://www.rinji.tv/densha/index.html for an English translation of the original trainman posts from 2-ch. Personally I was pretty let down. He starts off just like you'd expect but pretty quickly it just seemed like he got comfortable with Hermes and everything went along perfectly for him without needing help from the other forum members. In that sense I guess that is what makes it a likely true story but just don't expect anything remotely resembling the TV series from the original thread.

I remember /b/tv was airing it around the time Yotsuba´s /b/ crashed and Nanatsuba was founded by refugees.

There were love and friendship among 7channelers because of Densha Otoko. Everyone wanted to be supportive like posters from the movie... Ah, I remember those electronic tears of happiness and cries: "Denshaaaa~!", "Kitaaaaaa~!"

But in a few weeks this mood was destroyed by newcomers, who got banned on Yotsuba. They were acting like "What are you, guys, some sort of faggots?". I hated them, because Nanatsuba was heading towards bright future of the shiny pearl of imageboards.

I´m sorry for bringing this story (unrelated to 4-ch) here. But this is how Densha Otoko affected on me and my experience.

I'm going to rewatch densha. I think i will become a contributive member of society then. Both in offline life and as 4-ch poster.

I've just watched it. I think it's really nice!

31 Name: Couch Potato : 2008-12-04 03:10 ID:bE3se/pE

Hey, is the book the equivalent for the online posts there: http://www.rinji.tv/densha/index.html, or what?

Well, i thank you.

The book is a fictionalized version of those translations, I believe

damn im obsessed with Ascii Art! after watching... it seem funny n challenging at a moment!

34 Name: Shades : 2009-03-08 10:09 ID:A0FVWY2b

i say go with the translated one or manga (there are purist) dont go with novel...
ur not getting any trifling sensation.

if like short story on screen then go to the movies version...
if u like having tears therapy and wanna enjoy the story more longer (with some trivial story inside (fiction addition). go to the drama /series version.

i personally recommend the drama version.

Hey, let's make another thread to talk about this thread!

36 Name: Shades : 2009-03-10 01:44 ID:7LSVQDrk

i think misaki's (hermes) role was too little.
was hoping an story dedicated with point of view from hermes side.
