Just thought back to the Chiltern Firehouse "I am not dating JA" pap walk, also very shortly after Twitter explosion when spotted with new woman. He may not have set this one up but it cannot remotely have been a surprise to him that it happened.

But his relationship PR seems either non-existent or focussed on denial (eg "nothing to write home about" when still seeing JA). So I reckon it is her PR team running this. He presumably is aware of the plan and going along with it. Not sure how much he likes it though. I have rarely seen him look so stony-faced. Nor can I imagine he wants a minute by minute account of their relationship in us weekly - since his position was that when he had something worth saying he would say it.
