>>407>>411 I don't like his southern accent either. It actually takes that sexy edge from his voice that he has in British and normal American accent. What really makes me cringe is his live singing. The edited singing in the movie is not bad but when he did Wheatland and now in some of these behind the scene rehearsing clips, he doesn't sound good at all. His voice breaks when he hits the high notes.

I couldn't add in my comments then but a few days ago you guys discussed how Tom couldn't see how clunktastic ISTL would be and thought he could save it. While ISTL was filming, one of the extras from ISTL talked on her blog about her experience and one the things she mentioned was how much Tom and the director went back and forth about how to shoot the scene and how much Tom kept reshooting the scene over and over again and finally when Marc put his foot down, Tom said "you're the boss" sarcastically and that he didn't seem happy at all. I think it was the Opry scene they were shooting with the way the girl described it. Does anyone else remember this? Lot of people read that and said it showed Tom had control and perfection issues but now I think it might have been more that attitude of it's not a good film but I can save it if I push hard enough.
