>>924 I have no idea. The rate at which they're getting papped and seen publicly with accompanying PR pieces coming out within minutes, this is definitely a typical Taylor Swift romance. It's her thing where she jumps in head first and where most people will be in 3 months, she's there in 3 weeks. With Tom, however, it seems even more fast tracked because those 3 weeks have turned into 3 days.
People say the relationship seems real and I think so too but I think it's all infatuation and starry eyed awe on Tom's end for landing a pretty young mega pop star with a lavish lifestyle, and for Taylor it's wanting to be a positive center of attention instead of a sad picture of getting dumped yet again.
I'm in it to watch how it all plays out. So far it's been horrific and embarrassing and humiliating for Tom. He's been ridiculed and laughed at by serious press that had always admired him and sang his praises like The Guardian and the Telegraph. He's managed to raise his visibility but only because of his association with Taylor and even then he's a laughingstock. His own fans are laughing at him and jumping ship. Super stans say it doesn't matter, he's getting more hits and clicks than before but I feel quality matters too otherwise wouldn't studios be just casting Kardashians in everything since they're so famous?
Maybe it's a long term plan to stick it out with Taylor until Skull Island releases since he's the lead in it and walk the red carpet with her and get more famous but I don't know if it'll reach that far judging by the response right now. I'd like to think Tom has some self awareness and self respect where he'll put on the brakes on this circus and salvage whatever is left of his dignity and serious actor rep instead of flaming out on sheer hollow celebrity alone.

This relationship is so many shades of beige I'm even tiring of the beige glitter they throw at me in the form of a grown adult pretending to enjoy himself at a SG concert. It's fun on the night and then it smears and contorts into ugly face and contaminates anyone within a 5mile radius.
I need glitter cannons. Something along the lines of an editorial spread of them riding wild horses naked only stopping to serenade each other with their guitars.
