Random other thoughts:

1) I don't think she is pregnant. I think this is her respectable meet the parents outfit. She can hardly show up wearing that biscuit-revealing black dress she had on in Nashville. She was probably imagining tea and scones and noblesse oblige.

2) I don't think it is an engagement ring because she is wearing it on the wrong finger. That presupposes they are making an attempt to hide the truth about their secret engagement. Um......do we believe at this point that these two are hiding anything apart from the actual moment of coitus?
