She'd met Gyllenhal's parents very quickly after they started dating and I think had Thanksgiving with his sister's family. I don't remember if he met her parents, but I wouldn't be surprised. They lasted 5 months. Some people just jump in at the deep end with relationships. She's one of them, and he's following her lead.

If he's met her parents and he's following her lead, it would only be polite and proper (that's TH!) for him to take her to meet his. They'll have some tea and Mrs. Hiddleston will bring out the good biscuits but they're probably not going to be picking out china for the wedding reception.

And I completely believe that EO met his father and maybe his mother. Those two were hanging out and seeing each other much more than we ever realized.
