Well I guess on the one hand he has a cute new girlfriend, who is also a lot younger and has all the toys. He has spent a lot of time alone or just with Olly (I think he stayed in HI for thanksgiving when all his cast mates headed home). Now he has a group of people to hang out with and a fun house party to go to, when he's maybe been a bit serious and not had much fun in the past. Otherwise, what? A date with Olly at the tennis? So, he's happy.

On the other hand, he has a cute new collection of paparazzi friends, and a lot of comment in the mainstream media, of which he must be aware, saying at best that the relationship is fake (which must hurt if it's real) and at worst that he is milking this relationship for all it's worth and has lost all credibility. Plus a lot of mainstream media laughter at the W photoshoot, which he pretty obviously wasn't wholly comfortable with and must now be really regretting. And surely (please God) he must occasionally look around himself and think, will this be my life if I stay with her? Will I ever have an adult conversation again?
