A couple of articles say he's finished his filming - implying completely done - for his role. If so, i see no end in sight to the pap strolls. Does anyone know? Someone somewhere posted a supposed public calendar" for him that showed filming through the end of October. Do we know what the truth is?

I find it hard to imagine 2 weeks of filming is his lot. That is barely a cameo. I do not think that Marvel would allow such a short performance. After all, Thor 2 was not a huge success barring his performance.
And yes, I guess he is as shallow as a puddle IRL. Insofar as we get to see RL at all, which has been cunningly packaged to us all as RL, but turns out to have been a fake.
The main part of my - what? disappointment? disillusionment? - is not that he owes us anything, or that he has to be a clever, principled, earnest, honest person. I like plenty of celebs who are nothing of the kind (ahem, Chis Evans, who is hot but strikes me as shallow), or about whom I really know very little one way or the other (Kenneth Branagh - very good at giving nothing away in interviews). It's that TH worked so hard to sell us a particular person, when the people he chooses to associate with, and the actions of he last fee months, suggests he is nothing of the kind. I feel like I have bought a pig in a poke.
Of, as the old line always goes, it's the lying I find so hurtful!
The thing that's been crawling up from the back of my mind are all the little rumors that have bubbled up over the past few years about him from people who dealt with him one-on-one pointing to shallowness that were dismissed because he has plenty of public, well-known supporters - all of whom would have been the recipient of his happy puppy face because they were involved in The Werk. Not talking about the big stories from thebyke but random things that showed up on Datalounge, ONTD, that came from one-off encounters. It's likely they could all be embellished for their intended audiences, but the seeds of those were planted by something either said or done in front of people he was around. I blew them off as 'no one's perfect' because they were not on the racist apologist / straight up liar level of his current 'gf' so I don't have bookmarks. But none of them seemed to point towards him being so shallow as to become a problematic fav. I feel like this is the last weekend I'm going to pay attention to him, and if there's no break from her after, I'm breaking up with my internet bf.

The one he shares with HBC has to do with his home. Basically you can have a building, or in his case a compound, where the owners each have a long lease of their apartment, but also have a share in the company which owns the freehold. The company will make decisions about work to common areas such as the roof. It is not identical to a co-op in terms of legal structure but that is the nearest equivalent and it serves the same basic purpose.
The one we linked to previously is a tax efficiency company. It had over £300k of assets which says to me Marvel etc pays that company for his services and the company then pays him a dividend. As a company can decide when to pay a dividend he can smooth his income across several tax years which is more efficient.
All his tax needs would be dealt with by that company, so my guess is that the new company is an actual production company. This is supported by the identity of the other director and shareholder, which is a company that is in turn owned by two other guys, one of whom is a director of what looks like a TV production company. There is also no tax benefit (and an active disadvantage!) to distributing your income through a company that has another shareholder, because if you pay yourself a dividend the other guy has to get one too! So my guess is that he is looking outside acting with this new company.

The other consideration is that doing this stuff takes time. You have to decide to set the company up, agree with the other director that they will be involved, attend a solicitor, get the papers sorted, attend again for signing. It can be done very quickly, don't get me wrong, but it usually isn't if there is no need. What I am saying is that its emergence on 1 July is probably coincidental and the result of a much longer planning period.

I feel strangely weary of all this.
I am weary of watching someone I followed for being non-Hollywood, intellectual and interesting, earnest and unvarnished, morph in front of my eyes into someone who is not only thoroughly calculating and Hollywood, but who seems to be aiming for the Kardashian, In Touch Weekly end of the market.
I am also weary of wondering whether I am one of the "bad fans" or "haters" because I dare to express scepticism about how this relationship (which I believe to be a genuine one) has been packaged and presented to the press. Or because, on the basis of quite a lot of information, I have concluded that Taylor Swift is repellant on both a personal and professional level.

Worst case scenario, he has legitimate feelings for terrible person. I've believed she was a terrible person since long before she and Tom ever crossed paths, and the more that comes to light about her the more there is to dislike. Many people have already put together substantial, indisputable evidence of her being abhorrent on all levels. So, Tom truly liking her in any way and acting on his feelings is an indication that he too must be an awful person.
In what I suppose would be the best case scenario, Tom is a fool and believed that engaging in a showmance with Taylor Swift was a smart career move. Perhaps he took some poor advice from someone he clearly shouldn't be trusting. Perhaps he was deceived by her persona and was simply enchanted by the promise of greater fame and fortune. Either way, he didn't do his research properly before getting involved with her, which shows a tremendous lack of judgment.
In any case, I'm left with a highly negative opinion of him.

I can imagine him not doing any "research" on the internet before he met her. He is a celebrity and he has said he thinks it is weird meeting people and they already know everything about you. He might also think, as a celebrity who sees himself represented in a certain way, that you can't believe anything you read. So why not just take her as he finds her when hey meet, with no preconceived ideas?
Then they get together and at some point the Kimye stuff comes up. Maybe before RI - or maybe she kept that little helpful coincidence quiet when she suggested they "get it out there". Anyway, she tells him her version, and he probably believes it. He's in love/lust and she probably tells him something close enough to to the truth to make it vaguely convicting. He is only going to realise it is a lie if he goes back and compares the original statement with the snapchat, and he probably didn't do that. I bet he has also deliberately not read any think pieces saying she is a liar, manipulative, playing to racial stereotypes etc. I am sure someone has told him that it hasn't played well, but there is a big difference between reading it all yourself, and being told about it, probably by a somewhat sycophantic person who also wants to move forward and focus on the positive. Also Luke is in the UK so TH may be getting any PR advice from her people and they are hardly going to tell him how bad it is.
So I can well see that he remains insulated from it to a considerable degree. He is I am sure telling himself what people always say when all their friends hate a new partner: "I go by what I see of my partner. I judge on how they are with me. I don't listen to idle gossip." My feeling is it will take a while for him to learn for himself what she is like. He may never fully do so. I reckon that what will kill it off in the end will be one of three things: constant bodyguards, publicity, lack of privacy stuff; or having to hang around with a bunch of thick 25 year old models, talk endlessly about cats etc; or scheduling - when she is on tour and he is filming. I don't think he will have a moment when he realises she is a horrible person, because who wants to think they were fooled into dating someone horrible?
I can't decide if it's real or not. I was so certain that it was, and then it got weird. Really weird. When they realized some of the general public and a good number of journalists were questioning it, they just seemed so determined to make it look 'real' and give it legitimacy in the public eye. People falling in love, people in a real relationship, even those in the public eye and using said relationship for publicity, shouldn't have to 'do couple stuff' to legitimize their relationship - it should be obvious. They could have just shown up together and looked like people in a relationship do: together, happy, comfortable. Instead everything was rom-com OTT and seemingly done before planted paps: we hold hands, we kiss in the sunshine, I meet your family, we hold hands some more, we BBQ on a national holiday.
And the timing now is clearly suspect. The RI pics to distract from Kim's GQ article. The trip to Oz to get away from the US in prep for 'THE Receipts.'
I just don't know. And I don't care at this point because real or not, it doesn't speak highly of him. Perhaps he doesn't know the extent of her lying and manipulative ways, perhaps he is really smitten. But then he's in love with someone - and is someone himself - who wanted to publicize their 'first date,' wanted to drag his family into the public gaze, wanted to make public all the lovely first moments in a relationship that should be private. Their first romantic foreign getaway was 2-3 days long. It was shared with professional paps (her agency of choice) and 3 body guards. Real or not, that just makes them sound like soulless famewhores. So he's either in love with a famewhore (real) or is happy to have a business arrangement with a famewhore because he is one himself. Six and one half-dozen of another.
In the modern parlance of parents raising Millennials: I'm not angry, Thomas, I'm just disappointed. (Side note: Husband and I have decided to never say this to our child. We had parents that got angry, so we've decided to be 'get angry parents' as well. We think this approach will either create a 'normal' child like ourselves, or a serial killer. We're willing to go with this plan because we'd rather raise a serial killer than a Millennial.)

Or, maybe they are feeling competitive, the Hiddlestoners, more stoned than ever, out en masse to prove that they are more loyal and supportive than the Swifties and to achieve that they are blatantly ignoring all facts (case in point the latest CB's threads where the usual group of apologist uses logic fallacies and then compliment themselves on their sound logic while shading the other posters for not being so clever; they deserve TS as gf for TH)

The streaming of Hall H panels isn't live. They put up things later but streamed through the Comic-Con HQ app.
