I feel strangely weary of all this.

I am weary of watching someone I followed for being non-Hollywood, intellectual and interesting, earnest and unvarnished, morph in front of my eyes into someone who is not only thoroughly calculating and Hollywood, but who seems to be aiming for the Kardashian, In Touch Weekly end of the market.

I am also weary of wondering whether I am one of the "bad fans" or "haters" because I dare to express scepticism about how this relationship (which I believe to be a genuine one) has been packaged and presented to the press. Or because, on the basis of quite a lot of information, I have concluded that Taylor Swift is repellant on both a personal and professional level.
