It was marketed as a musical, they call it an homage to the musicals of yesteryears and it's honestly a really good film and ISTL is nothing compared to it.

Also there's Ethan Hawke's Chet Baker movie right? That's also an ISTL type biopic musical. So we could have Ethan Hawke, Ryan Gosling, and Tom Hiddleston up for noms. My bet is on Ryan Gosling winning. It was a great performance by him in Lala Land. I can't think of any good comedies that came out this year. We got a crap ton of dramas for this year though. Stiff competition there.
